Whenever my son and I stay at Landal De Lommerbergen we always end up wishing there were more hours in a day, as there is simply so much to do in the holiday park. We have endless adventures doing scavenger hunts or taking part in the many games that are organised daily. Every activity is documented in the app which you download to kee track of your booking. So, every day you can see what festivitities are hosted, which games you can take part in, what the opening hours are for verious parts of the park. It makes your stay just that much more rrelaxed and your kids can ‘have their pick’ at what to do, which they’ll definitely enjoy.
Indoor swimming paradise
One of the main attractions at Landal De Lommerbergen is its indoor pool complex that includes multiple pools, water slides, a wave pool, a children’s pool with playful features and a tropical treasure island. For those looking to relax, there are whirlpools and a lazy river. The tropical ambiance and well-maintained facilities make for a very relaxed morning or afternoon.

Adventure Island is an outdoor playground where children can let their imaginations run wild. Whe it’s rainy or cold outside, the spacious indoor playground is an great alternative to playing outdoors. The indoor playground is filled with climbing frames, slides, and soft play areas, ensuring that children have plenty of options for fun. Regardless of the weather.

There’s a variety of activities hosted daily both indoors and outdoors. Simply check the app (which you download after you book your stay) to see what’s on that day. Smaller kids can enjoy crafts, a reading hour, mini disco and scavenger hunts. For older kids and teenagers more exciting and daring games are on the menu. I thought it was particularly fun that seasonal activities were organised. My son and I were there for Halloween one year and we went outside on a ‘spooky walk’ with self-made paper lanterns after which we roasted marshmallows and hat hot chocolate. There’s always something special going on.
Dining Options
If you don’t feel like cooking at all during your stay at the holiday park, you won’t have to. There is a casual café, a snack bar, a steak house and an Italian restaurant. Take out is also possible and the on-site supermarked provides fresh bread in the morning and everything else you could need to dine in your cottage.
